We are not anti AI, but the disruption is real. Film and television production has been heavily impacted. Entry-level industry roles have already been reshaped or displaced by AI. A reality that raises genuine concerns for the future creative talent pipeline, and is in part, the reason we built this studio. The media landscape is rapidly evolving. Production budgets and turnaround schedules continue to tighten, placing unprecedented pressure on working crews while leaving skilled crew without work.
While emerging generative capabilities are technically fascinating, the speed of change demands clear boundaries. Here is exactly where we stand.
Where We Use It
We leverage intelligent automation for production logistics: audio transcription, shoot scheduling, technical QC compliance checks, colour science workflows, and analysing international broadcast and audience consumption trends to better serve our clients.
Where We Don't
The soul of Sighthound is authentic human storytelling. Something we do not believe can ever be synthesised. Our narratives are discovered, directed, and edited by seasoned broadcast human storytellers for real human audiences.
Every visual asset that carries the Sighthound name is captured on cinema cameras, lit, and finished by human talent. We do not generate synthetic footage or use generative AI imagery in our client films. That is an intentional creative standard, not an oversight.
We are actively exploring how machine learning can accelerate motion graphics layouts, subtitling, audio and metadata delivery to pass greater efficiency and value to our clients.
This statement reflects our official operating position as of 27 August 2026. We will update this policy as industry standards and technology evolve.
