Sighthound Studios and Sighthound.tv do not accept unsolicited television formats, scripts, unscripted treatments, program pitches, or other external creative IP.
This isn't about a lack of interest. We actively develop original IP, docuseries, and broadcast formats in-house and with co-production partners. We are frequently developing projects that share themes, formats, settings, or subject matter with ideas submitted to us. Accepting unsolicited material puts both parties in a difficult legal position when that happens.
If you send us creative material, pitch documents, or concept treatments without a prior written request:
- We cannot treat it as confidential, and no confidential or fiduciary relationship is created by submitting it.
- We are under no obligation to review it, respond to it, return it, or retain it.
- We may already be developing, or may in the future develop, something similar or identical independently of anything you have provided.
- No financial compensation, copyright claim, or credit is owed to you in that event.
If you are a producer, writer, agent, or rights holder with an unscripted project that genuinely aligns with our slate, contact our development desk first at hello@sighthound.tv with a one-sentence logline. Do not attach decks or scripts. If we request the material, we will issue a formal Submission Release before review.
Inquiries regarding commissioned enterprise films, brand documentaries, case study series, and corporate media retainers are welcome anytime via our New Client Enquiry form.
